
SWCSD would like to remind you that the Wamic Community Center Food Pantry is open the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month from 5-6:30pm.


There will be a Community Health Fair in the High School Cafeteria at the Redsides Powow tomorrow April 19th from 5-7pm. If you are coming to the Powwow, please stop by the cafeteria and complete the community survey. You will receive a $10 voucher for a local store and the school also receives a $10 donation for every person who participates in the survey. See you there!



SWCSD would like to remind you that tomorrow night April 19th is the Redsides Powwow dinner with social dancing and games! Due to construction at the Grade School, the dinner will be held in the Legion Hall @ 5:30pm and the Powwow will be in the High School Gym @ 6:30pm. Come and enjoy a community evening of celebrating together!


SWCSD would like to remind everyone that the SWC High School Job Fair is tonight April 12th in the High School Gym. Students attend from 5-6:00pm and the Community is welcome from 6-7:00pm. There are over 30 businesses represented tonight as well as 75 open positions!


SWCSD is providing a presentation about our proposed science material adoption next week on April 18 and are inviting families to attend. A letter from Principal Endsley is attached here and you can also find it on our website under SWC Flash News.


Thank you so much to the School District allowing for the phase 1 remodel of the Science room. It was a blast including 5 student workers during spring break! The feedback from the whole student body has been so positive, and the ability to have a modern Science classroom makes such a wonderful difference in the learning process! I am looking forward to the next phase this summer!

The South Wasco County Job Fair is right around the corner! We are bringing local employers and job seekers together on Wednesday, April 12th from 6pm-7pm in the High School Gym.

Thank you to Megan Chastain for coming out and running a stage makeup class for our Drama students! It was a huge opportunity for the. Also a special thank you to those who donated and helped provide a full makeup kit to the Drama Program!


Parent/Teacher Conferences are tomorrow Fri March 10th at SWCSD. If you would like to meet with a teacher regarding your student, please call either the Grade School or High School Office to make an appointment. If you cannot come tomorrow, appointments can also be scheduled for another date.

Maupin Grade School Title IA Family Game Night is Tuesday, March 7th from 5:00-7:00pm. Snacks and games are provided and children must be accompanied by an adult.

SWCSD Families ~ we are still hosting our watch party for the Lady Redsides State Basketball playoff game against Jordan Valley tonight Feb 24 in the High School Gym. If you feel safe driving to the school, doors will open at 4:30pm for the 5:00pm game. We will provide the popcorn/water, you bring your own snacks/sodas and chair if you do not want to sit on the bleachers. Go Big Green!
