SWCSD would like to remind you that the rescheduled Holiday Music Program featuring grades PK-5 performing "Christmas at the O.K. Corral" and the MS/HS Piano Class will take place tomorrow, Tues December 17th at 6pm in the Old Grade School Gym. GS students are to meet in their classrooms at 5:45pm. See you all at the O.K. Corral!

Middle school students are gearing up for holiday presentations this week!


SWCSD would like to let you know that the MS STEM Frost Byte Tourney at Dufur tomorrow Sat Dec 14th is cancelled and will be rescheduled to a later date.

SWCSD would like you to know due to today (Dec 12th) being a no school day, the Music Winter Concert has been rescheduled for next Tuesday, December 17th.

SWCSD has now CANCELLED school for today Thursday December 12th due to the current wintery road conditions. We will continue to monitor road conditions throughout the day and make a decision later about rescheduling the Winter Concert tonight.

SWCSD will have a 2-Hour Delay today Thursday December 12th due to snowy road conditions.

SWCSD would like to remind you that the K-5 Winter Program is tomorrow night Dec 12th at 6:00pm in the Grade School Gym with a special performance by the MS/HS Piano class! Also, lost and found clothing left in the Elementary/Middle Schools since the beginning of the year will be located in the back of the gym. Please go through and find what may belong to your student if you can!

SWCSD would like you to know that the Health Department has notified us that the West is having its worst norovirus (stomach flu/bug) season in years. They wanted to remind us to KEEP WASHING THOSE HANDS! This is also a reminder that students must be symptom free for 24 hours before they come back to school after all viruses. It has been noted that a bleach cleaner is what kills this particular stomach flu/bug. Stay healthy and wash those hands!

SWCSD would like to let you know that after school Theatre Rehearsal has been cancelled for today, Tues Dec 10th.

So many SWC students turned out, both to volunteer as elves and to participate, at Maupin's winter festival activities today. ❄️






The middle school Leadership Class and the 6-12th Theatre Class both entered the light pole competition this year. Check out their entries on Main Street.



SWCSD would like to remind all parents/guardians of the Parent/Teacher Conference day next Friday December 13th. If you would like to schedule a conference with your child's teacher, either follow the directions on the attached letter from Mr. Endsley or call either the Grade School Office @ 541-395-2665 or High School Office @ 541-395-2225.

This focus Friday, a group of middle and high school students volunteered with Ms. Gibson's second grade class to help with counting, reading, and painting.






SWCSD would like you to know that tonight's (Fri Dec 6th) HS Home Basketball Game v Irrigon will start at 4:30pm instead of 3pm in this order: JV Boys @ 4:30pm, Varsity Girls @ 6pm and Varsity Boys at 7:30pm.
